Artist Statement

My inspiration often comes from my daily life and personal memories. I observe small moments, objects, and experiences around me. These ordinary things may seem simple, but they carry emotions and stories. Through my work, I reflect on growth, memory, identity, and the passage of time.
I enjoy making things by hand because it allows me to feel the materials and discover new possibilities during the process.
My works explore themes of growth, memory, and personal experience. Some works reflect different stages of my life, while others observe social behavior or explore how natural materials can change through art. I am interested in how simple materials, such as fallen leaves, can be used and given new meaning in an artwork.
One artist who inspires me is Yoshitomo Nara. I admire how his works appear gentle or childlike while still expressing deeper ideas about life. This inspires me to express ideas about life in a soft and healing way.
Sometimes I face technical or material challenges. When this happens, I research solutions online or discuss ideas with others to gather feedback. These challenges become opportunities for me to learn new techniques and improve my skills.
